The old asphalt has been milled and removed from Colonial Drive between the police station at 524 Colonial Drive and Valley Road. The contractor is working to replace an existing storm inlet in front of 523 Colonial Drive. Earlier today, as part of the storm inlet replacement, a water service line was damaged. The water main was shut down for a short time while the service line was repaired. If you notice air or rust in your water, let your tap run a few minutes until it clears.
Tomorrow, August 15: The contractor will be removing and replacing the stone sub-base in the same work area, and completing the replacement of the storm inlet. Parking continues to be restricted in this area.
