East Greenville Borough is celebrating their 150th anniversary this year!!
All are welcome to an Open House at 206 Main Street during Community Day on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please stop in to view items from the time capsule buried during the 100th anniversary of East Greenville. Bring a letter to be read in 50 years at the 200th anniversary or use the ‘letter writing station’ during our Open House. We are encouraging all ages to get involved.
Also during Community Day, the Schwenkfelder Library will make the following presentations inside Borough Hall at 206 Main Street:
11 a.m. – “Cigar Making in East Greenville”
2 p.m. – “What happened to Harry K Bechtel? – A mystery with East Greenville Roots”
State and local representatives will present the Borough with 150th Anniversary Citations at 12 noon in front of 206 Main Street.
